The OPL Foundation welcomes two new board members: Vicken Koundakjian works for the Government of Canada in the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade as a Senior Advisor in the area of Emergency Management. In addition to French and English he speaks seven other languages. He is an enthusiastic supporter of the Library and uses the Sunnyside Branch.

Danielle McDonald has recently been appointed the CEO of the Ottawa Public Library and joins the Board in an ex-officio capacity. She has more than 25 years of management experience with the City of Ottawa including the last three years as senior Manager for the Library’s Facilities and Business Services Division
